That time "Dwayne Wayne" STYLISHLY played a nitwit henchman in 🎥 : "I'm Gonna Git You Sucka." & His Pants Made Me Look "Within" 🌿
I'm gonna get you sucka

(*Stylist : Ruth E. Carter,   Actor : Kadeem Hardison)

I've been looking for these pants for YEARS... not only because the pleat PERFECTLY fits my personal style but THE WAY the (unique) Metallic of the pant is a flawless complement to the flat base color (rose pink).

It's Very uncommon to find two seemingly opposing characteristics (appreciation, femininity in this shade of pink / wisdom, propriety in the "jade green" shimmer) come together so seamlessly to make an exceptional presentation.

The use of metal shimmer is Wonderful here! I credit the textile designer (for assembling the fabric) and the seamstress (for tailoring the piece), as well as the stylist who had the eye to appreciate and incorporate this pant into a "look".

Even though the colors and finish juxtapose, it's not loud or chaotic but subtle and purposeful.

The garment as a whole signals something to me:

It feels like Growth that refuses to stay hidden.

The green is tied to life renewal, forward movement… visible healing. The kind where you’ve been through something and made a Decision to move Differently.

There are, in these pants - that slight metallic shimmer.  The kind that catches light in Motion. Which makes the wearer (hopefully me!) want to feel like getting "Going" (metal = highly electric, thermal conductivity, visual brilliance).

The whole look drives home, to me, the idea of HOPE ;

...Intentional and constructed.

Not just: “things will get better.”
But: “I’m going to BUILD something better, even if I just start with a glimmer.”

This is where clothes are ART and Art is INSPIRATIONAL, and these pants inspire me to "Get Up" and Be Wise (green) and Appreciate life (pink) and "parent" myself as needed.

Taking on the role of structure (firmness of the fabric - my guess is it's a linen blend), patience (the "conflict" of the 'harsh' green metal and the 'softness' of the rose petal pink), correction (that the healing Jade green envokes),

and care (that the nurturing pink calls for, arouses) - not because it was modeled perfectly, but because it’s necessary now.

The pink is the comfort we always needed but didn't always get; that green becomes the growth you Chose.
That shimmer becomes progress that isn’t always obvious - but shows up when it catches THE LIGHT just right.

From the outside, it looks like Style.

From the inside, it’s RECONSTRUCTION.

Clearly, I'm undergoing some personal "growth spurts" - thankfully, Fashion is a form of Healing...  🌱

Ephesians 4:24 (NLT) "Put on your new nature, created to be like God - Truly righteous and holy."

Still looking for this exact item yet 🥹, but in the meantime, here are some inspired looks: - I need a title, tags, meta description, Topic, and Content Type
